Orion and his party chased Emerton, a priest cursed with eternal death as punishment for kill a Pharaoh thousands of years ago, deep into the desert. It bodes ill for the world if Emerton is revived and fully recovers his power.
You must kill Giant Scorpions first then attend to the wounded Wiston.

Wow, look at all those Scorpions! They're massing
like vultures. Or an army. It seems that Emerton
wasted no time at bending them to his will.
Emerton was an Arch Priest thousands of years
ago cursed with an eternal death for murdering
Pharaoh Seti. He somehow managed to revive
himself and has now restored much of his power.
He is here to finish his restoration, and if the
Scorpions are any indication, he doesn't have nice
