Introduction

Karina mentioned that deep in Aegean North there lives a giant, mysterious monster. It appears only at night and disappears before sunrise. Karina's human lover was captured by the monster when it last attacked, and she hopes you will save him. Use the Mermaid Perfume Karina gave you to summon the monster and defeat it. Recommended for a party. If you do not defeat the Mystery Monster within 10 minutes it will disappear.

NPC Dialog

I wish all of Aegean understood me as well as you
do. If that was the case, I could freely be with my
human lover. I must tell you about this monster that
has plagued us. It is mysterious... It appears in the
night and attacks mermaids but disappears before
dawn. We don't know what draws it to us, but it has
kidnapped my lover! I need you to save him, and all
of Aegean, by defeating this monster.

Quest Completion

The mysterious monster was just a giant octopus?
I...I didn't think it could be defeated, it killed so
many of us. That is why I didn't tell any Aegeans
what I knew about it. I was so stupid...did you find a
human there? Where is my lover? Is he dead?
