Delai told you that the Guardians of Fate exist to protect an ancient power; Odin sent the Scarlet Phoenix to the Killing Grounds as part of this task. Though her words were meant to deter you, they only make you more intrigued by this mysterious power. Having successfully captured the Scarlet Phoenix, you decide to return to Muto to ask for guidance.

Your next target is the Emerald Dragon, isn't it?
Long ago, I learned from the Scarlet Dragon the
reason that Odin sent the Guardians here. They
were created to seal some ancient power, but I was
never able to find out the details. You must be after
that power, right? I would suggest you give up
before you get yourself killed. I know you won't
listen to me, though, so I wish you good luck.

Quest Completion

You captured the Scarlet Phoenix? Your abilities
never cease to amaze me, young warrior! As you
suspected, you should seek the Emerald Dragon
next. According to the ancient texts, you should be
able to find it at Emerald Dragon Island. You can
reach this place through the Dimensional Gate.
