Introduction

The summoning of the Scorpion Lord cannot be stopped, but there is hope. Many of the frescoes that line the walls illustrate ways to deal with him. If they are any indication, piercing his heart is the key to defeating him. Study the visual riddles within the frescoes and report back to Ardth with anything that you figure out. (It's much easier to understand the riddles if you read them in an unoccupied area.)

It seems that instead of stopping Emerton from
summoning the Scorpion Lord, we must now
prevent him from making use of his new ally. As
strange as it may sound, we're in the best spot in
the world to do so. As Evna may have mentioned,
this place may honor the Scorpion Lord, but it is
also made to contain him. Even the beautiful
frescoes around here illustrate methods for dealing
with him. Help me by studying them. They may
seem like visual riddles, but they are actually
designed to enhance understanding. It's pretty
obvious, though, that his heart is his weak point.

So you enrage the Scorpion Lord so he exposes his
oddly-placed heart, and then pierce it? It may be
dangerous and difficult, but it is admirably
straightforward.
