Introduction

Emerton will realize the danger the Spear of Osiris poses to his plans if you do not act swiftly. Ardth suggested that you fight Anubis Soldiers in order to get a feel for fighting the Scorpion Lord. Once you have done so, speak with Emerton and challenge his newly-summoned ally.

NPC Dialog

With the amount of frescoes showing the Scorpion
Lord's weakness, it will only be a matter of time
before Emerton realizes that this can undo his
plans. After summoning the Scorpion Lord, Emerton
will be overconfident and drunk with success. He'll
likely just stand by and laugh at anyone that tries to
fight the Scorpion Lord. Unfortunately for me, the
honor of killing the Scorpion Lord cannot be mine.
You must be the one that defeats him. We'll only
get one shot at this, so I suggest you get a feel for
fighting the Scorpion Lord by fighting some of the
nearby Anubis Soldiers.
