I was lucky to receive this Ancient Tome while
studying magic in Atlantis when I was younger.
They have an advanced economy and military there
and know many things about magic and all the
people of the world. So many learned people travel
there and contribute to Tomes such as this one.
The events referred to in this book are very similar
to what you say happened to the Dragon Emperor,
but I don't know enough to help you. I can use my
magic to open a gate to Atlantis for you, maybe you
will find some clues there.

Quest Completion

This dark mist you described... it sounds like it may
be Khar, a powerful demon created by Loki. Khar is
the subject of chapter 11, Engulfing Darkness. If it
is indeed Khar, there is a plot behind these events.
